The flea will often lay eggs on the back of your pet and as your pet travels around your home these eggs that are smooth not sticky like some other parasite eggs and the smoothness allows the eggs to slip from the back of your cat or dog into the pile of your carpet.

Pet cat fleas are the most common fleas in your home, the fleas from your pet cat enter your home on the fur of the cat and they then disappear into the soft furnishings or the carpets of your house, they can travel from room to room by jumping or by just jumping onto your clothes and jumping off in the next room you walk into. This is how your whole house can become infected with fleas in a very short time.

If you need to eliminate fleas from your home or office you have several choices, and one of these is to use chemicals or not, the flea traps you can use are a non toxic way of getting rid of fleas in home or office environments they give off heat and trap fleas on sticky pads when they enter the traps. You can also see how many fleas have been trapped and this gives you a clear idea of how bad the flea infestation is in the home or office.

Killing fleas is the only way to rid your home of a flea infestation, the fleas often enter your home on the back of a pet having jumped on them they then hop off on to your carpet where they can remain undetected and the first you know about it is when you get bitten. Flea traps can give you a good idea of the number of fleas in your home, if the number of fleas you catch is climbing that normally means you just have more fleas in your home than you started with.
